Course Overview

Understanding mental health in the workplace has never before been so important. Did you know that in 2020 a survey of British adults in employment showed a staggering 79% commonly experience work-related stress.

This is 20% higher than 2018's findings. The main factors cited were workload pressures including tight deadlines,

too much responsibility, a lack of managerial support and long working hours (Perkbox 2020).

The Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace qualification has been designed to address these issues and provide learners with the confidence and occupational competence to help facilitate mental health initiatives and employee support.
