Our Ambassador
Marlie Packer OBE
Championing wellbeing on and off the pitch.

We’re proud to have Marlie Packer OBE, England Rugby star and inspirational leader, as the official ambassador for Ripples Wellbeing.
A two-time Rugby World Cup winner, 2023 England Rugby Captain, and 2023 World Player of the Year, Marlie’s dedication, resilience, and commitment to supporting others make her the perfect partner for our mission of promoting mental health and emotional wellbeing.
About Marlie
Marlie is a highly respected professional rugby player, known for her leadership, determination, and team spirit. Beyond her sporting achievements, she is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, mentoring, and community engagement. Her values align closely with ours at Ripples Wellbeing, and her involvement helps shine a light on the importance of emotional wellbeing across all areas of life.
Marlie understands the importance of balance, mental resilience, and self-care both on and off the field. She’s passionate about encouraging open conversations around mental health, reducing stigma, and supporting people to seek help when they need it. By working with Ripples Wellbeing, she hopes to inspire others to prioritise their wellbeing and access the support they deserve.
Why Marlie is Involved
Marlie used to play rugby at Bristol with Jen, the inspiration behind Ripples Wellbeing, and was very fond of the person she was. Like Jen, Marlie wears her heart on her sleeve and isn’t afraid to speak openly about her own struggles at different times in her life. This honesty and compassion make her a perfect role model and ambassador to help keep Jen’s legacy alive.

Our Partnership
As our ambassador, Marlie supports initiatives, events, and campaigns aimed at promoting mental health awareness. From sharing her own insights, to engaging with our community; she helps highlight the impact of small steps, open conversations, and professional support on long-term wellbeing.
Together, Ripples Wellbeing and Marlie are committed to creating positive change, breaking down barriers in order to access support, and celebrating resilience, courage, and self-care.
